Eildon players shine at Association Division 1 Medal

Competition result: Association Division 1 Medal at Stephens Croquet Club

Leslie Watson and Wade Hart competed on the weekend.

Congratulations to winner Dave Luxmore (Burleigh) and runner-up Kathie Grant (Southport).

The results were tight. Wade finished third on a head-to-head count back, and Les completed one of the two triple peels seen in the tournament.

The student beat the master in the Eildon Croquet Club Derby in a fluctuating game. Wade followed that up with another tight win against the current Qld Open holder, Heather Knight.

Amongst the many interested spectators over the weekend were Keith, supporting his Eildon team mates, and Les' old adversary from Adelaide, Mark Kobelt, pictured here with Les and Wade.
