One of our hardworking volunteers was eventually spotted looking slightly exhausted and quietly wondering if this energetic crew would ever become tired and want to go home. The answer appeared to be “not anytime soon”!

Wynnum lawns host another community social gathering

Wynnum Croquet Club isn’t just about hoops, mallets and serious competition. Our club facilities are also available for community groups, birthday parties, corporate functions and social gatherings, and on Sunday the lawns were alive with laughter as the Wynnum Manly Workers Social Club returned for another fun-filled outing.

Wynnum members enjoy a relaxed weekend croquet session

Fifteen enthusiastic members arrived, with a few looking just a tiny bit weary from their Saturday night adventures. Thankfully croquet is gentle on the legs, even if aiming straight can sometimes be another matter entirely!

Visiting group returns to Wynnum for another enjoyable day

This group visited us last year and enjoyed themselves so much they decided to come back for round two. There was plenty of friendly banter, wildly creative shot selections.
