The Windsor Croquet Club celebrated its 110th birthday with a barbeque and cutting of the birthday cake at the club house on 17 August 2014. (Info taken from book one of the history of the Windsor Croquet Club.) "… the first croquet court was an area in the Albion Racecourse where the refreshment area is today. The late Mrs Kenyon was responsible for the courts on the Albion Flats now know as 47 Blackmore Street, Windsor, 4030… The clubhouse was actually an old army hut. It was extended throughout the years and maintained as it is today. .."

It is interesting to note that the Albion Flats is in fact a flood plain and in 1974 and 2022 the clubhouse suffered severe damage when flood waters inundated the buildings. That was when the spirit of the members came to the fore with many volunteering their time and effort with clearing, cleaning, repairing and writing requests for grants to replace lost items.
