Val Layne and Richard Ingelido win Maestro Doubles

Last Sunday, Stephens Croquet Club held a Golf Croquet doubles tournament called Maestro Doubles, after our great sponsor, Maestro Meats of Annerley.

Eight doubles partners competed for prizes of meat vouchers from the popular local butcher. The day was enjoyed by all.

Winners were Val Layne and Richard Ingelido, with Gerard Smith and Keith White as runners-up. There were chocolates for 3rd place Maria and Linda, and 4th place Jenny and May.

It was good to see Club President Val in a competition rather than looking after things behind the scenes.
