Toombul wins pennants matches and hosts the AC Eights and Sixes

Toombul played at home to Eildon in AC Pennants on 3 May and won 2 games to 1. On 4 May, Toombul hosted McIlwraith in Golf Croquet and won 7-3. The play was competitive and friendly. Despite persistent rain, the lawns have drained well and remain in good condition.

The AC Eights and AC Sixes were played at Toombul from 17 to 19 May. Michael Gidding won the Eights, with Bruce Fleming runner up, in a close contest. Terry Kearney won the Sixes, with Donna Manning runner up. The weather held after rain on Saturday morning.
