Toombul wins Brisbane Division 3 Pennants Final
Toombul, the Northside winners, beat Wynnum 7 games to 3 in the Brisbane Division 3 Pennants Final. The club congratulates Wynnum on a tight contest and their Southside Competition win.
e are very proud winners of the Brisbane Div 3 Pennants Final between Toombul (Northside winners) and Wynnum (Southside), 7 games to 3.
We have had other players make up the various teams over the last 4 years, when we were all beginners to the game of croquet. This team has been the main go-to team, so it is awesome to have them on board for the win!
Lawn 4 had a pool of water but the other 3 lawns were fine, and 4 singles games were double banked. The rain held off for us.
Congratulations to Wynnum Croquet Club for some very tight games and on winning the Southside Competition.
Cheers.
