Sunnyside runners-up in Wide Bay Burnett Golf Pennants, and a coaching day with Bruce and Liz Fleming

The Wide Bay Burnett Regional Golf Pennants competition was held in April and Sunnyside Croquet Club was runner-up. Two teams from each of the four clubs competed, with Bundaberg Croquet Club eventually the winner.

On 19 May, Association players from Sunnyside and Bundaberg Croquet Clubs enjoyed an excellent coaching day at the Bundaberg Croquet Club presented by Bruce and Liz Fleming. Bruce is the CAQ Code Co-ordinator for AC and Liz is a level 4 Association Coach and Examiner.

Our Wide Bay Coaching Co-ordinator, Eileen McCann, organised the coaching days, one for Bundaberg and one for Hervey Bay. The feedback was very positive as members learnt new skills and various ways to play the game. There was lots of play on the greens and, overall, a fun day.
