Rockhampton membership grows, Eva Moore Trophy goes to Coral Walsh, and Gateball team wins at MSOB

The club membership is growing steadily, and the club has recently welcomed three new players. The club is attempting to assist Gracemere Club with their membership drive by playing at their courts as often as possible.

The Eva Moore Trophy Golf singles handicap competition was held on 18th June with clubs from Capricorn Coast, Gladstone and Rockhampton competing. The winner was Coral Walsh (Rockhampton) with Steve Kele (Rockhampton) runner-up.

The Gateball players are continuing to travel and recently competed at MSOB with players from Toronto, Canberra and Bribie Island and were very happy to win the Team competition. The club will also be sending a team to the State Gateball and the National Gateball events.

Thanks to the hard-working men in the club, the lawns are looking and playing great, and some recent rain was very welcome.

The club is looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
