Queensland wins the State of Origin at Burleigh Heads Palm Beach
Burleigh Heads Palm Beach hosted its annual State of Origin across all codes, then the Gold Coast Tweed Region AC tournament.
Burleigh Heads Palm Beach hosted the annual State of Origin on 18 June. The tournament is unusual because all codes play at the one venue. Golf Croquet used two courts, while Ricochet and Association Croquet shared one court in a shortened version.
Queensland reigned as champions this year, winning 21 points to 18. The team captains were Barbara Northcott for Queensland and Alan Edwards for New South Wales.
