Pennant winners and Christmas trivia at Burleigh Heads Palm Beach

In early December, at the regional Christmas party held at Tweed Heads CC, the Pennants were presented for the regional winning teams. The club’s Division 2 Golf Croquet team were Joy Manning, Dot Davidson (Captain) Steve Scrimgeour and Malcolm Campbell. (see photos in that Tweed Heads news item) The members of our winning Association and Ricochet teams included Paula Bollington, Joy, Steve, Malcolm, Garry Purcell and the captain for both Association and Ricochet, Dave Luxmoore.

Later in the month we celebrated Christmas in our clubhouse with our traditional Christmas lunch. Apart from an excellent catered feast, the event featured the annual Christmas Trivia competition plus spot prizes and the draw for the Christmas raffle. Joy Manning won the yearlong “hoop in one” competition with a staggering 22 hoops!
