New committee, new watering system and a Burnett Tournament welcome from Bundaberg

The Club is off to a bright new start for 2024. We elected a new President, Glen Stronach. Kathryn Walker continues as Secretary and Jenny Lee has taken the Treasurer's position. Wilma Palmer continues as Ricochet/Golf Captain. Jenny Lee is Captain of Association.

Bob Brydon is doing a great job as Greens Director. At last the installation of our new watering system has begun. We are most grateful to have received a Government grant for the works. Since the summer rain our lawns are in great shape ready for the Burnett Tournament. The Schedule has gone out to all Clubs. We can assure you of a warm welcome to our beautiful city and we are pleased to offer Association, Ricochet and Golf Croquet events.

Bundaberg hosted the recent Wide Bay Burnett Region Pennants. A new concept was tried with a combined Bundaberg/Sunnyside team compete against a combined Hervey Bay/Point Lookout team, with Bundaberg/Sunnyside being the victors.
