Nambour wins the Centenary CAQ Trophy in Ricochet

Acknowledgement - 100 Years of Croquet Playing in Queensland.

To observe this significant milestone "Croquet Association Queensland" organized an all-encompassing multi regional game of Ricochet Croquet to culminate as the "CENTENARY CAQ TROPHY".

Over a two-month period many inter club knock-out Ricochet games were played resulting in four winning regional clubs representing their clubs in the Centenary Final. These were Brisbane North, Gold Coast Tweed, Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay Burnett.

On Sunday June 26th the final was played at the Windsor Croquet Club. After all the games were concluded, Nambour Croquet Club representing "Sunshine Coast" was declared the overall winner. The list of Team members: Robyn Pettman, Bill Habner, Judy Starr and Ken Barker.
