Murwillumbah renovations and a Melbourne Cup luncheon

With the beautiful weather we are having in Murwillumbah, we are making the most of it with social play with the pennant season over.

Jan, our secretary, hosted a Melbourne Cup luncheon at her home, with a lovely arrangement of salads made by members whilst Jan tackled the sweets. We all had pleasant afternoon with Dawn being the lucky winner of two sweeps for the day.

Joy Hughes is having an extended holiday with family in Germany and Vietnam and will be home for in time for a second Christmas in

Murwillumbah. Our club Christmas luncheon is being held on Wednesday 23rd November. We are celebrating at local RSL club with a set lunch menu.

Renovations to the kitchenette are starting on the 5th December 2022, we have all been very patiently waiting for works to commence and are looking forward to seeing the end result. A special mention to Barbara who has gone the extra mile in obtaining the grants to fund the renovations... Thank You Barbara. Wishing everybody a very safe and Merry Christmas.
