McIlwraith Croquet Club turns 103!

What better way to celebrate 103 years of McIlwraith than by honouring one of croquet’s great traditions — wearing the whites!

And in a wonderful coincidence while celebrating McIlwraith’s birthday, some of our members had the very special honour of wearing their whites on the lawns of The Hurlingham Club — the spiritual home of croquet in England.

There’s something rather special about standing on those historic lawns, dressed in white, and feeling connected to the generations of players who have enjoyed this wonderful game before us.

From McIlwraith 103 years ago to Hurlingham today — the traditions of croquet continue.
