Eildon paid for a CPR course held at the club, for 10 volunteers recently. We all hope that we never have the occasion to use our skills: Fran, Kay, Jill, Chris L, Grahame, Sue, Robyn, Michele, Margaret and Megan.

Eildon held its first ever GC Sunday Singles Series which is sponsored by Ray White at Woody Point. It was a very successful event and everyone is keen for more Sundays, the first Sunday of each month. More details can be found at eildoncroquet.com.au.

We nearly beat the rain for our Gala Day on 12 March. The last round had to be abandoned when the heavens opened. We thank all the entrants who travelled to join us. We have found that the late afternoons are a great time to have a game of croquet and follow that up with a pizza or two on the deck. It may become a habit.

Eildon has three Golf Pennants teams and one Association team ready to start competing in April. We have just completed a member satisfaction survey and the results will be presented at a general meeting in March. We will base our strategic plan on the results in consultation with the Management Committee.
