Easter raffle, ANZAC Day, and World Croquet Day at Tweed Heads

It is hard to believe we are already at the end of May! I hope everyone had a Happy Easter. We were able to celebrate Easter Saturday here with friends from our local area and lunch was enjoyed thanks to our willing band of canteen helpers. It was nice that Sue Gramm, one of our new members, won the Easter Raffle.

ANZAC Day was unfortunately washed out but as in past years we had our Ret. Naval Officer, Bob Linaker, on stand-by as Master of Ceremonies, a role he has filled for many years. We will now keep our fingers crossed that we will have kinder weather in November for Remembrance Day.

May 1, we celebrated World Croquet Day with friends from Burleigh Heads/Palm Beach, Murwillumbah and Coolangatta and, as always, a fun day was had by all.
