Don and Logan win the Central Region GC Competition at Gracemere

The Gracemere duo wins the Central Region 2022 Annual Golf Croquet Competition held in Mackay!

The wet weather deterred some, but long-time player Don Close convinced his daughter Kylie and grandson Logan that it would be fun to travel to Mackay and participate in this high/low competition.

Both new players, they usually enjoy playing Aussie Croquet at Gracemere's Friday night socials but had played a couple of games of Golf Croquet before. Paired with two more experienced players, Kylie and Logan were guided through their first-ever competition and had a great time meeting the lovely players from Mackay Croquet Club. Don (H'cap 1) and Logan (H'cap 16) managed to win the comp with the highest overall score.
