Cherry Street recognised several members with special awards. Helen Young received the Old Mug Award for her tireless work as Convenor House and Social Activities manager, organising and attending many activities, functions, socials and get-togethers across the year.

Phyllis Waters received the Captains Trophy. A leading player from the Northern Rivers area, Phyllis has had a strong year in club championships and tournament play across Golf Croquet and Ricochet, and has recently taken up Association Croquet with early tournament placings.

Robyn Poynting and Marlene Rennie were awarded Patrons trophies in Ricochet and Golf, awards they also won in 2023. Both were congratulated for their performance and contribution to the club. Robyn, the club President, keeps Croquet for Kids running smoothly and helps with whatever benefits the club. Marlene contributes strongly in the community through the Hot Meal centre, Vinnies and wherever help is needed.
