Bundaberg celebrates Margaret Webley Event winners in Ricochet and Golf Croquet

Greetings from beautiful Bundaberg. Our members have been enjoying their games regardless of the cold, windy weather. We are busy playing our Club Matches.

The Margaret Webley Event was most successful and sincere thanks go to Wilma & Melissa Palmer, and also Jenny Lee for its success. The Ricochet on Thursday July 11 was played as an XYZ and the winners were Wayne Johnson (Isis) & Janet Poole (Hervey Bay). The Y was won by Troy McCallum (Bundaberg) & Frank Meek (Isis), and the Z by Jenny Campbell (Hervey Bay) & Wayne Lusk (Point Lookout). The Block B winners were Kaye Bain (Hervey Bay) & Beryl Dittman (Bundaberg). It was a very cold day. Golf Croquet was played the next day Friday 12th. Winners were Glen Stronach (Bundaberg) & Sara Green (Sunnyside) with runners up Linda Walsh & Leonie Boreel (both from Sunnyside)
