Bribie welcomes Fendalton Park visitors back from New Zealand

Visitors from New Zealand played at Bribie Island on Labour Day. Their rich blue tops and white trousers made a smart sight beside the Bribie uniforms.

The visit followed Bribie's hosting of a Fendalton Park party in 2017. The touring group of 16 were visiting Sunshine Coast clubs and had already played at Noosa. After a delayed flight left them tired for the earlier visit, they arrived at Bribie bright eyed and ready for three games of Golf Croquet, changing partners for each game.

The day was friendly and relaxed, with no pressure like a competition. The visitors enjoyed the Bribie courts under a bright blue sky. To finish, the club ordered fish and chips. The visitors took photos of the sunset and said how lucky the club was.
