ANZAC day, Golf Shield, new cupboards and Association training at Windsor

The ANZAC day barbeque was well supported and everyone enjoyed themselves. Brad, with Peter looking on, cooked the meat, sausages and onions to perfection. President Willy thanked all who contributed with food.

WCC Golf Shield

Windsor's Golf Shield event was a great success. There were four blocks of eight, with two held on Saturday and two on Sunday. Congratulations to all winners and competitors. Windsor member Francesca won the D Block. It is encouraging to see members entering competitions outside Windsor. Congratulations to all. Greg Bury won the CAQ Golf second eights recently.

WCC cupboards

Brisbane City Council has installed new waterproof cupboards, and moved the water system control panel into them. The previous cupboards went under water in the 2022 flood and have been sold. This is part of the flood resilience program. Club President Annette inspected the control panel.

WCC Association

Windsor players Claire and Deborah looked on as Willy demonstrated the finer points of Association Croquet. Those attending the training were in good hands as Willy won the 2nd group of the brooch and the W section of the National Women's Championship.
