Got club news? There's a button for that now
A new ADD NEWS button on HOOPLA lets anyone send in a club story in under a minute. No sign-in needed. Watch the 40-second demo.
You can now put your club's news on HOOPLA yourself. There's a new maroon button at the top of the homepage that says ADD NEWS. Press it, write your story, press send. No sign-in, no password, nothing to set up.
The video above shows the whole thing from start to finish. It runs for about 40 seconds, because that's honestly how long it takes.
How it works
1. Go to news.croquetqld.org and press the ADD NEWS button at the top of the page.
2. Put in your name, your club and your email address.
3. Write a headline and your story. To add photos, press the Image button and pick one from your phone or computer. On a computer you can also drag a picture straight into the story.
4. Press "Send it in".
Your story then comes to us for a quick check before it goes on the site, the same as everything else on HOOPLA. You don't need to worry about spelling or making it look polished. That's our job.
What to send
Anything from your club. Results, a working bee, a new member's first win, a good morning tea, a photo from the lawns with a couple of lines about the day. If it happened at your club, someone else in Queensland croquet will enjoy reading about it.
If you get stuck or you'd rather email your story in, write to hello@croquetqld.org and we'll take it from there.
