1st Draft of the 2027 Fixture List: Open for Public Comment

This is the first public draft of the 2027 events calendar, covering all four codes: Association, Golf Croquet, Ricochet and Gateball, alongside the national fixtures that affect Queensland players. It will change. We are putting it out now so we can hear from you before it settles, and early enough that clubs can still nominate to host.

The highlight of 2027 is that the AC Nationals come to Brisbane in March: the Men's and Women's Singles from 13 to 16 March, and the Eire Cup from 17 to 21 March.

How the dates were decided

We started from the 2026 calendar and this year's feedback rather than designing a new one from scratch. The Association Croquet committee's dates were set as a firm requirement, so those were locked in first and every other event was arranged around them.

Every date was then checked against the national fixtures and the major club competitions. Nothing lands on MSOB on the Broadwater, the Stephens Easter carnival or the Redcliffe carnival, and no medal or championship falls on a public-holiday long weekend. The one exception is GC Men's Open Singles, run as a four-day event over the Labour Day long weekend.

Most venues are not allocated yet, so most read TBC. Nominations are open for your club to host a major tournament and bring top level play to your lawns.
