Young player shines at Brisbane South Golf Croquet Doubles

Do any young people play Croquet?

YES!

Tim Wright from West Toowoomba Croquet Club grabbed three wins with Geoff Hull on Wednesday at the Brisbane South Region Golf Croquet Doubles.

Tim also enjoyed the strawberry ice cream cones. (It was the Ekka Holiday in Brisbane so the Show came to Croquet.)

It was a shame that traditional Ekka illnesses made for last minute rearrangements. Cesare Crispigni was left without a partner but, with his calm manner and quiet determination, he was the eventual winner. Congratulations, Ces!

Our friends from Wynnum, Elaine Rubock and Richard Pickvance, came a very close second. Well done!

The day was enjoyed by all, and spirits were lifted by the strawberry ice cream cones at lunch time.
