es, young people find Croquet fun and challenging.

Six young Australians were in the field of 28 competitors in last week's WCF Golf Croquet Under 21 World Championship in Melbourne.

From an Australian Financial Review article:

"Some of the most successful players are only young – like Jack Williams, 19, who won both the Australian Under 21 golf croquet singles title and the Victorian open golf singles last year," says Croquet Victoria president Jim Clement.

Says Jack Williams, who works in a camping and outdoor store in regional Victoria, "Because there's not many people doing it, there's more scope to get to the top."

The 2017 U21 World Champion is Felix Webby, with fellow New Zealander George Coulter as runner-up.
