Wynnum wins GC Pennants draw at Twin Rivers

Pennants 20th March

On a beautiful sunny morning our GC Pennants team travelled to play against Twin Rivers on Sunday 20th March 2022.

Our Wynnum team of John, Dianne, Ann and Esme all played well and all enjoyed some success either in the doubles or singles.

The result of this match was as close as it gets, with a 5–5 draw, but Wynnum won on hoop difference, 59 to 57. A number of games went to hoop 13.

This was our first opportunity to play at Twin Rivers and we thank them for making us so welcome, and Ron Schodel for being Referee for the match.

Well done to all our players, and huge thanks to those supporters who turned out to watch our team perform.
