Wynnum splits matches in round four of Brisbane Metropolitan GC Pennants
Wynnum travelled to McIlwraith for round four of the Brisbane Metropolitan GC Pennants. They lost 4-2 to the host club, then beat Ipswich 4-2.
ynnum Croquet Club travelled to McIlwraith Croquet Club for the 4th round of the Brisbane Metropolitan GC Pennants on Sunday 20th June 2021.
After a cold start, the rest of the day was sunny and quite warm. Our first match was against the host club, McIlwraith, where our team shared the spoils in the two Doubles games but were outclassed in the Singles. The match result was 4-2 to McIlwraith.
In Match 2, our Wynnum team of Noela Gray, Cecelia Haines, Dorothy and Chester Cutcliffe won both Doubles games and they shared the Singles against Ipswich to finish up 4-2 winners overall.
Well done to all our players.
