Wynnum Retains the Trophy!

Our annual friendly challenge against Twin Rivers Croquet Club was held this year on their home lawns. It was a great day of doubles croquet, with every team playing six games in a competition filled with good sportsmanship and plenty of close contests.

The result couldn't have been much closer. Both clubs finished with 15 wins each, so the winner was decided on net hoops. Wynnum edged ahead with 69 net hoops to Twin Rivers' 58, meaning the silverware is making the trip back to Wynnum once again.

A big thank you to everyone at Twin Rivers Croquet Club for hosting the event and making us feel so welcome. Your warm hospitality, well-prepared lawns and friendly atmosphere made for a thoroughly enjoyable day.
