Wynnum players shine at BSR Ekka Day Golf Croquet

A number of Wynnum Club players participated in the BSR Golf Croquet tournament, held on Ekka Day, 16 August 2017.

Geoff Hull teamed up with Tim Wright from Toowoomba, and Brian Rubock teamed up with Bruce McAlister from Ipswich. Elaine Rubock and Richard Pickvance also played as a pair.

A great day of croquet was had by all. Eventually, Elaine Rubock and Richard Pickvance came a very close second.

Wynnum pair play BNR Golf Croquet at Windsor

Our Club was represented by Richard Pickvance and Elaine Rubock in the BNR Golf Croquet tournament held on 11-6-2017 at Windsor.

Players only played two games and two hoops in the third game, as the competition was called off due to 40mm of rain falling and the groundsman said no more play was allowed.

Even though rain stopped play, an enjoyable morning was had by all.
