Wynnum players compete in CAQ Open GC Doubles

ynnum Croquet Club was represented by eight players in the CAQ Open GC Doubles held at Eildon on 21st & 22nd April 2018.

Richard Pickvance again formed a strong partnership with Penny Jackson (McIlwraith) with some good results.

Ron Schodel teamed up with Geraldine Trivett (Stephens) and played some excellent croquet with good results.

Brian and Elaine Rubock had some good results and were the only pair to beat the eventual winners.

Karen Meates and Dianne Lovi teamed up for their first major competition and really enjoyed the experience. We hope that they continue to enter more competitions.

Gordon Giles and Geoff Hull teamed up but were a bit inconsistent in their play and eventually ended up in overall third position.

There were 15 pairs in the competition with some players from interstate.

Well done to all Wynnum players.
