Wynnum members try their hand at Gateball

On Saturday morning Elaine and Brian showed us how to play Gateball, a completely different game to Golf Croquet, which most of us are used to playing.

Slowing it right down at the start, Brian took us through the basics of the game. It certainly is a very tactical game, normally played with pace and a ticking clock with only seconds to play your shot.

We are hoping to have another try out when Brian and Elaine have the time, and hopefully find some players interested enough to make a team.
