Wynnum members gather for centenary photoshoot

With our 100th birthday just around the corner, we felt today was a great day to get all members together wearing our new shirts, for a professional photoshoot.

Thanks must go to Francesca de Wytt for arranging photographer Aaron for us. The weather was very kind and was a great day for taking photos.

We were thrilled that Life Member Phyllis Pledger, 99 years young, was able to attend. Life Members John Carter, Jim Philp and Wendy Snowdon were also present, a delight to see them all.

Special thanks to Roy Machen (chef extraordinaire!) for the delicious BBQ, and to all the helpers in the kitchen and around the club for making the day such a success.

After the official photos and a game or two of croquet, a barbeque lunch was held. This was followed by a delicious array of desserts supplied by members.

At the end of the afternoon, all were fully sated, and satisfied with the events of the day.

We look forward to our official birthday celebrations on 16th February.
