Wynnum hosts GC 3rd and 4th Sixes

Croquet Queensland GC 3rd & 4th Sixes were held at our club over the weekend.

Saturday play was made very difficult with thunderstorms all day. The players remained focused and continued to play. Sunday proved a much nicer day to compete when the sun finally came out.

The Croquet Qld site added: "Well done to both finalists and to all who competed over the weekend. It was a fantastic display of skill, focus and friendly competition."

The winner of the Third Eights was Claire Warriner, runner up was John H Smith.

First place in the Fourth Sixes went to Steve Helleur, runner up was Megan Stuart.

Congratulations to you all.
