Wynnum hosts Eildon in Division 3 Pennants

Division 3 Pennants, 25th July

What a pleasure it was to host the team from Eildon Croquet Club on Monday 25th July for the Brisbane Metropolitan Division 3 GC Pennants match. Eildon should be very proud of their players, who represented their club admirably. All games were played in a competitive but friendly spirit, and everyone enjoyed the experience and making new friends.

Our Wynnum team consisted of Lynne, Jenny, Lisa, Brian and Wendy, who put up a spirited performance before winning 6–4 games and hoop difference 55 to 49.

Well done to all our players. Thanks to Deirdre and Gordon, who set up the hoops and dressed the courts in the cold early morning, and who were our referees for the match.

Thanks also to our members who came along to provide support for the team.
