Wynnum defeats Merthyr in Metropolitan GC Pennants
Wynnum hosted Merthyr in the Brisbane Metropolitan GC Pennants on Friday 8 April 2022 and won 7–3 games. The hoop difference was 55 to 52.

Our Wynnum team of David, Trevor, George and Esme had great success in the first round of doubles, which were both very competitive games.
Great to see David and Trevor back on form and enjoying success in both their singles games. Well done.
The results of most of the games were very competitive, and Wynnum won 7–3 games with a hoop difference of 55 to 52. A few of the games went to hoop 13.
Well done to all our players, and huge thanks to John, who helped Gordon with refereeing for the morning.
