Wynnum held a busy St Patrick's Day club day on Saturday 17th March 2018. It included coaching, an information session, a BBQ lunch, croquet and plenty of green.

Wynnum celebrates St Patrick's Day with a special club day

eannachtaí Lá Féile Pádraig oraibh (blessings of St Patrick's Day to you).

Our club had a very special club day on Saturday 17th March 2018.

It was a busy day, starting with a 2 hour GC Coaching session, followed by a club members' Information Session, which concluded with our President giving members some interesting facts about St Patrick's life.

There was a BBQ lunch with Irish music playing in the background. Everyone got into the spirit of the day. Almost all members turned up at the club wearing various shades of green. Diane Lovi took out the prize for the best St Patrick's Day outfit - she looked a treat in her leprechaun outfit.

The ladies put on a lovely lunch, with Bill doing a great job with the BBQ. We had some good croquet afterwards, followed by more food - the green cakes were delicious.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the day.
