Wynnum celebrates Life Member Phyllis Pledger's 96th birthday
Wynnum members celebrated several August birthdays on Saturday, including the 96th birthday of Life Member Phyllis Pledger. The cake was served in a Covid safe manner.
everal of our members had birthdays in the month of August. A birthday cake was produced on Saturday to celebrate the 96th birthday of our Life Member, Phyllis Pledger.
A special effort had to be made to serve the cake in a Covid safe manner for all members present.
The afternoon was most enjoyable, and we sang a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday for Phyllis and others, but members shouldn't take up singing as a profession!!
