Wynnum awarded grant for centenary shirts

We were thrilled to find that we had been awarded funding through Wynnum Manly Leagues Club Major Community Grants to help with the cost of special centenary shirts for our 100th birthday celebrations coming up in February 2025.

We are also very grateful to Cr Alex Givney and her office for helping us with this application.

This type of funding is very significant to smaller clubs like ours, so we extend our appreciation to those who have assisted.

It was a fantastic night at the presentation held at the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club, where they provided snacks during the evening before presenting enormous cheques to each winner.

Centenary Chairperson Noela, aided by one of her committee members, Jenny, was there to accept the cheque on behalf of our club.

We sincerely thank everyone involved.
