Worm castings a sign of healthy lawns at Wynnum

After weeks of wet weather, our lawns have become home to hundreds of worm castings. While they may not look particularly attractive, these little mounds are actually a sign of a healthy, living lawn.

Earthworms help improve soil structure, drainage and nutrient cycling, so the grounds are certainly benefiting from their hard work.
