Winner Takes All underway at Wynnum

Winner Takes All, a competition with a difference. A two-day event, and at the end of day 2 there is one prize of $1000 cash. That's it. No second prize.

Day 1

A full complement of players was seen today, with some courts double-banked. The scores were incredibly close in all games, requiring loads of thought before each stroke, and great tactical play.

We can't close the day without a big thank you to these members who helped set up the courts, put up the gazebo, enter the scores, do the catering, etc, all starting very early in the morning: Gordon, Alison, Nathan, Cameron, Jim, Deirdre, John, Gay and Gaye, thank you. A great team effort.

Day 2

Day 2 will stretch the concentration of the players as they head towards the completion of the day, when we find out who will take out the one and only prize of $1000. We are looking forward to some more great play on Sunday. We'll keep you posted...
