Windsor pair win doubles play-off at Twin Rivers

Yep, someone said "croquet anyone" and these players from Windsor Croquet Club answered the call, along with other players from Bribie Island, Toowoomba, Eildon, Ipswich and Twin Rivers. It was a fantastic day and provided a great opportunity to catch up with all our other croquet friends.

Twin Rivers Croquet Club hosted a doubles competition today on their lawns at Eagleby. Two groups of 6 pairs played each other, with the winners from each group going to a play-off. We are very proud to announce that Windsor pair Carol Kleidon and Jenny Ross-Maloney won the play-off 7-6 against Maia and Lesley from Twin Rivers. Congratulations Carol and Jenny!

The weather was very warm, and the untimely activation of the sprinkler in the last match, giving some of us a right drenching, provided some relief from the heat!

Thanks to Twin Rivers for hosting such a fun day.
