Windsor members compete in CAQ Men's Open Singles

After the rain tried to spoil the CAQ Men's Open Singles in March and again this month, it finally went ahead at Eildon Croquet Club on 17th–19th May. Saturday started off with showers and then the sun came out to provide perfect croquet playing weather.

Four of our members, Shane, Graham, Greg and John, entered the event. The games were very close and some spectacular jump shots were demonstrated.

Graham, Greg and Shane made it into the Championship round, with Greg placing 4th, Graham 5th and Shane 7th. It was a great competition all round.

Congratulations to Bob for winning the Championship and Casey for winning the Plate.

Thanks to the organisers, referees, officials and Eildon Croquet Club for hosting the event.
