Windsor members compete at Wynnum Metropolitan Challenge

Windsor members were at Wynnum on Sunday competing in the George Hartnett Metropolitan Challenge GC Doubles. Carol and Jenny teamed up, as did Annette and Glynn. This was Glynn's first "away" game. Both teams had some spectacular wins against the top players and reported they had very close games.

Although these four didn't win the final, our other member Graham, who teamed up with Richard from Twin Rivers, was runner-up. Congratulations to Graham and Richard.

Thanks to the organisers, the referees who always do a fabulous job, and the players who showed true sportsmanship. What a fabulous day for everyone. Thank you, Wynnum Croquet Club.
