Windsor hosts successful October Brooch

Today Windsor hosted the October Brooch. It was a most enjoyable and successful day, with players from Eildon, McIlwraith, Stephens and Windsor participating. We played under beautiful blue skies and welcomed that early sea breeze.

Congratulations to the winners of the four blocks:

Block A Max Kilmister – Windsor

Block B Jan Sampson – Eildon

Block C Judy Fairclough – Windsor

Block D Kerrie Hodgson – McIlwraith

Thanks to our fabulous bakers (some should really consider going on MasterChef), hoop setters, lawn keepers, tournament managers and co-ordinators, and our referee. The day would not be so successful without you.

Our next Brooch, and the last one for the year, is on Friday 15 November. Entries are open now, so head over to our website to register if you are interested (not many spots left).

The Windsor Doubles is on 24 November. Entries for that open on 24 October, so organise your partner to be ready to register when entries open.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
