Windsor hosts September Brooch and Association Cup competitions

Windsor held its September Brooch with 16 players from Bribie Island, East Brisbane, Ipswich, Stephens, Merthyr, Wynnum and Windsor. A cloud cover and cool breeze made for good playing conditions, and Donna entered her first brooch event and won her block.

Congratulations went to Block A winner Neville (Ipswich), Block B winner Graham (McIlwraith), Block C winner Viv (Wynnum) and Block D winner Donna (Stephens).

In September, Windsor also held the Windsor Association Cup. Fourteen players were divided into three groups and played across Saturday and Sunday. The competition was fierce and sportsmanship strong.

Block A1 winners were Shane (Windsor) and Chris (Stephens). Block B1 winners were Greg (Windsor) and Addison (Laurel Bank). Block C winner was Dennis Backer, with Terry from Toowoomba runner up. Volunteers were thanked for their time and energy.
