Windsor Croquet Club: Women's Day Come and Try, Golf Brooch

Windsor ready for rescheduled Women's Day Come and Try

Dining room with white-clothed tables set with cups and saucers, two staff in uniform, and wooden honour boards on the wall

e are ready for our rescheduled International Women's Day Come and Try Croquet and High Tea, which is tomorrow. We are looking forward to welcoming our guests.

The club has been transformed into an elegant tea room (use your imagination!). The lawns are looking great. Can't wait to introduce everyone to the wonderful game of croquet!

Today was the return to the Windsor Golf Brooch Season for 2025. The forecast was for showers, but they didn't eventuate, although we would have welcomed them. It was a great day and we look forward to seeing you at our next brooch.

The winners are:

- Block A – Bob - Block B – Dolly - Block C – Brad - Block D – Cameron

Thank you to all Windsor members who help out behind the scenes to make these days the great success they are. The willingness of everyone to pitch in and help and learn new tasks makes me very proud to be a member of Windsor Croquet Club. Teamwork makes the dream work.

Remember there is no brooch in April. Easter gets in the way. Our next golf event is the Golf Shield on 4th and 5th May. Hope to see you then.
