Windsor Doubles wraps up the 2024 competition year

It looked like all the rain last week was going to spoil our final competition for the year, but it didn't and we had a lovely day.

Thirty-two competitors from Nambour, Bribie Island, Wynnum, Eildon, McIlwraith, Stephens, Merthyr, Laurel Bank and Windsor paired up to compete in the Windsor Doubles. Pairs were divided into four blocks according to their handicaps. Competitors played 6 games in a round robin format to determine the winner of each block.

Our three referees did a wonderful job and we thank them sincerely. Special thanks to Sue Green, Deidre Giles and Terry Ericson for supporting all the players.

Thank you to all the competitors, tournament manager, tournament organisers, lawn keepers, bakers, referees, hoop setters, Grinners Trophies and everyone else who helped make the day a huge success.
