Welcome Back to Windsor for 2026

elcome Back to Windsor – 2026!

Saturday marked our official Welcome Back to Windsor for 2026, with members enjoying a fantastic BBQ together, followed (of course!) by a few games of croquet. Despite the high humidity, nothing could deter our players from getting out on the lawns.

To ensure our lawns are in top condition for the season ahead, scarifying was completed last week, and Lawn 4 will be receiving some extra TLC with topdressing scheduled for the coming week. We're also getting very excited about the arrival of our new lawn mower in the coming weeks – a very welcome upgrade after our trusty old mower survived a flood and many years of hard work!

Our members certainly haven't been idle over the Christmas break. Congratulations to Shane and his partner Andrew, who competed in the CNZ GC Open Championships Doubles and finished a very close second – a fantastic result!

Best wishes to our players Claire and Graham, who will be competing in the VCA Golf Open Doubles Championship on 21–22 January. Good luck!

2026 is shaping up to be a very busy – and most of all, fun – year.

Enjoy cro
