Vale Shirley Eames – A beloved club member

Vale Shirley Eames – 1/12/1952-9/4/2026

Shirley was a much loved and active member of Headland-Buderim Club, playing both golf croquet and ricochet. She was a great team player, always ready to “give it a go”, working backstage at competitions as well as participating in them, and a real character when it came to the fun days!

When the club needed a President, Shirley stepped up. She worked tirelessly during the Golf Croquet Nationals in 2024 and our club received praise from all quarters for our friendliness and attention to detail during the 10 day major event.

Finally, Shirley was a successful club grants officer, obtaining significant funding for equipment and infrastructure. Thank you, Shirley. We miss you.
