Twin Rivers wraps up a busy year with Christmas luncheon

nd so it is Christmas and the end to another busy year.

Our Christmas luncheon, held on the 10th, was very enjoyable. Councillor Karen Murphy attended and said a few words outlining how she supports our club. There were magnificent raffle prizes to be won and a quiz to mull over while eating a tasty lunch. Trophies for the club doubles championship winners and runners-up were also presented.

In November the slab was laid for our second machinery shed, and this week the temporary road into the park was laid in readiness for work to begin early in the new year on our next two courts. It looks like 2023 will be an exciting year for our club.

We would like to wish all our members and friends a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2023.

Also, a big thank you to all the clubs who host events and tournaments throughout the year, and to the referees who give up their time so others can compete in the sport we all love. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
